In this event, we’ll meet Dr. Gina Cody, an engineering graduate, businesswoman, philanthropist, public speaker and advocate for equity, diversity and inclusion in STEM fields, whose exceptional career has profoundly impacted the field of engineering in Quebec. The first woman to earn a Ph.D. in structural engineering at Concordia, as well as the first to have a university engineering and computer science faculty named after her in Canada and internationally, Dr. Cody will recount the key milestones of her journey. She will share the barriers she overcame and the fundamental principles that guided her choices. Dr. Cody will also share her vision of professional excellence accessible to all, as well as her determination to support future generations. A stimulating conversation that highlights the legacy of a trailblazer. The interview will be hosted by Eva Hartling, president and founder of Hartling Communications and The Brand is Female.
