1. Verify the authenticity of websites and messages
Phishing attempts are increasingly common and can take many forms. Take the time to review the messages you receive, website addresses, and unusual requests before taking action.
Before entering your login credentials, make sure you are on an official website. Avoid clicking on links from suspicious emails, text messages, or web pages.
To securely access the FÉRIQUE Portal, always use:
- the official website ferique.com, via the “Log in” button;
- the official login address https://portail.ferique.com/en;
- or the FÉRIQUE mobile app.
2. Pay attention to login notifications
A login notification can be sent by email each time you access the Portal if this option is enabled in your profile preferences. These notifications provide a simple way to quickly identify unusual activity and act promptly if necessary.
3. Enable two-factor authentication
Two-factor authentication adds an essential layer of protection. In addition to your username and password, a temporary code is required to access your account. This option can be activated directly in your profile preferences on the Portal.
4. Keep your devices up to date
Updates to your operating systems, applications, and security software regularly fix known vulnerabilities. Installing them promptly helps reduce the risk of fraud or unauthorized access.
5. Use strong and unique passwords
A long password - ideally a phrase of at least 16 characters combining letters, numbers, and special characters - is strongly recommended.
Use a different password for each of your online services and never share your login credentials, even with someone claiming to represent a financial institution.
6. Manage your passwords carefully
Avoid storing your passwords in a browser, email, or notebook. These practices increase the risk of them being compromised. Using a recognized password manager is a safer solution.

- Make sure your contact information is up to date.
- Always use the “Log out” button to end a session.
- Regularly clear your browser cache.
