Hélène Brisebois

Hélène Brisebois
Associate Engineer, Vice President and Project Manager at SDK
Inspired and unifying, with an exceptional analytical mind, Hélène Brisebois is a recognized figure in the engineering and the construction sectors. She has contributed to the realization of numerous large-scale projects, many of them award-winning, including major hospitals, courthouses, schools, detention centers, and university pavilions.
A graduate in civil engineering from Polytechnique Montréal, Ms. Brisebois pursued further studies at HEC Montréal, in quality systems at Polytechnique, and in governance at Université Laval.
She joined SDK in 1987 and quickly became a shareholder, then a principal partner. President for over 18 years, she currently holds the position of Vice President of Strategic Development and Major Projects.
Her contributions have been recognized through various honors, including the Prix Mérite from Polytechnique Montréal (2023), the CREW Excellence and Leadership Award (2015), and a tribute from the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (2011). A Fellow of the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering, she also holds honorary doctorates from Université de Montréal (2014) and from Université de Sherbrooke (2024).
She is also involved with organizations such as the Polytechnique Montréal Foundation, the Université de Montréal Major Campaign Cabinet, and Dans la rue.
