Vice President, Compliance and Legal Affairs
Julie Parent holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Université de Montréal and has been a member of the Quebec Bar since 1996.
Ms. Parent began her career as a lawyer in civil, corporate and commercial law at Dubé Elbaz Avocats in Montréal. Subsequently, she held various positions in Compliance and Legal Affairs at Canaccord Capital Inc., Desjardins Securities and National Bank Financial.
Ms. Parent joined the company in December 2012 as Director of Compliance for FÉRIQUE Investment Services. Since then, she has also held the position of Senior Director and Head of Compliance for FÉRIQUE Investment Services. In January 2018, she was appointed Vice President, Compliance and Legal Affairs for FÉRIQUE Fund Management. In this capacity, she ensures the regulatory, legal and administrative compliance of the activities of FÉRIQUE Fund Management, its subsidiary FÉRIQUE Investment Services and the FÉRIQUE Funds.
Ms. Parent brings to the organization her intellectual rigor, her experience of more than 20 years in the field of financial services and her integrated management of legal and commercial issues.
