Michel Letellier, Eng., FIC
Michel Letellier holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Université Laval (1961) and a diploma in Mechanical Engineering form Carleton University in Ontario (1968). He also holds the Advanced Management Course Certification from McGill. Mr. Letellier focused his career in engineering. For nearly 14 years, he has held a number of positions, from Project Engineer to Process Engineers, Sales Engineer, Director and Vice-President for Dominion Bridge-Sulzer Inc. In 1990, he joined Canam Group Inc. as Project Director, then Vice-President Steel Construction Sales, a position he occupied until 2009. Furthermore, Mr. Letellier has been involved with the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec since 1970. He held the positions of Secretary-Treasury, Member of the Disciplinary Committee and President of an ad hoc Committee for Financial Services. He is currently President of the Review Committee for the Office of the Syndic. In 2013, he received the "prix Mérite" from the Quebec Interprofessional Council (QIC) for his engagement.
Mr. Letellier has contributed to the creation of Fonds FÉRIQUE in 1974, in addition to having chaired the Investment Monitoring Committee for a number of years (1974-1981). He rejoined the Board of Directors of Gestion FÉRIQUE 2007 to 2011 and then in 2012. He brings to the organisation over 40 years of experience in general management, sales and engineering as well as an extensive knowledge of associative fields.
