Mr. Martineau is a graduate of the Faculty of Business Administration of Université Laval and a member of the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec. He was President and Chief Executive Officer of Desjardins General Insurance Group from 1994 to 2008. Since 2009, he has been a board member and an audit committee member of various companies in the financial services industry. Mr. Martineau holds university certification in corporate governance from the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés.
