Pierre Delisle holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from Université Laval (1969) and a certification in corporate governance (2009). During his career, he has been a city councillor, project manager and head of Human Resources and business development in a large multidisciplinary consulting firm. He has also worked in the legal field as Chairman of the Quebec Municipal Commission, an administrative tribunal specialized in mediation, arbitration and adjudication. Mr. Delisle has also been a business manager in the manufacturing sector and a senior executive in the federal and provincial public sector, where he has held the positions of Executive Director, Assistant Deputy Minister and Agency Chairman.
His leadership has also enabled him to hold various positions as chairman and member of executive committees in a wide variety of organizations. He has extensive experience on governance and audit committees and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Quebec Bar. Mr. Delisle has served on more than 20 board of directors, including the Université Laval, the Fondation de l’entrepreneurship, the Fondation de l’Université Laval, the CHSLD Christ-Roi, the Quebec Interprofessional Council, the Association des ingénieurs municipaux du Québec, the Engineering Institute of Canada, the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering and the Centre de plein-air La Vigie. A former president of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec, Mr. Delisle also sat on the board of directors and executive committee of the Société de développement industriel du Québec, a major public organization dedicated to the economic development of Québec through business financing. He joined FÉRIQUE Fund Management's Board of Directors in April 2014.
