Pierre Deslisle

Pierre Delisle, Eng., ASC, FIC, F.Adm.A.


Pierre Delisle graduated with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Université Laval (1969) and obtained university certification in corporate governance (2009). During his career, he has been a city councillor, project manager, HR manager and business development manager at a large multidisciplinary consulting firm. He has also worked in the area of law as the Chairman of the Quebec Municipal Commission, a specialized administrative tribunal, acting as a mediator, arbitrator and adjudicator. Mr. Delisle also has been a manager of a manufacturing company and a senior executive in the federal and provincial public sector, acting as an Executive Director, a Deputy Minister and Agency Chairman. 

His leadership skills have helped him become the chairman and member of executive committees within a number of organizations in many industries. He has extensive audit committee experience and has served on about 20 boards, including Université Laval, Fondation de l’Université Laval, Fondation de l’entrepreneurship (President), CHSLD Christ-Roi, Conseil interprofessionnel du Québec (President), Centre de plein-air La Vigie, Association des ingénieurs municipaux du Québec, Engineering Institute of Canada and Canadian Society for Civil Engineering. A former President of the Quebec Order of Engineers, Mr. Delisle has served on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Quebec Industrial Development Corporation, an organization dedicated to financing-driven economic development. He joined Gestion FÉRIQUE's Board of Directors in April 2014.
