Jean Careau, M.Sc.
Vice President, Marketing
Jean Careau holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Université Laval (1986) and a Master of Science in Administration from HEC Montréal (1995). He began his career in 1986 with Desjardins Group, where he held various positions as a Marketing Advisor for retail clients. His main mandates included marketing research, development and pricing of products and services, and product management and marketing. As part of his responsibilities, Mr. Careau carried out various marketing campaigns for the Desjardins caisse network.
From 1996 to 2015, he held various management positions in strategic planning and wealth management marketing. During that period, he was responsible for developing and implementing savings and personal insurance marketing strategies to support Desjardins Group’s growth in this sector of activities through various Canada-wide distribution networks.
Mr. Careau joined Gestion FÉRIQUE in January 2016 as Vice President, Marketing. He brings to the organization extensive expertise and experience in the financial services industry. His responsibilities include developing and implementing FÉRIQUE’s marketing strategy and activities.
