Maud Cohen, Eng., FIC, MBA, ASC
Maud Cohen has a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal (1996), an MBA from HEC Montréal (2004) and a Corporate Director Certificate from Université Laval and Collège des administrateurs de sociétés (2012). She began her career in project management at Walsh Automation and Walsh Automation Europe, which are now Invensys, and became Director of the Project Management Office. She subsequently worked with the CGI Group as Director, Asset Management. She has taught project management at HEC Montréal (2012-2014) and acted as a Governance Consultant (2012-2014). She is now President and Chief Executive Officer of the CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation.
In addition to serving on the Board of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (2004-2012), including the last three years as the Chairman, Ms. Cohen has many years of experience on other boards, including those of Université du Québec (2010-2012), Aéroport de Montréal (2012-2014) and Gestion FÉRIQUE (2005-2007). Ms. Cohen once again joined the Board of Gestion FÉRIQUE, following her election in April 2013 as an engineer member. In April 2014, she was appointed member of the Investment Monitoring Committee and was elected as its Chairman. Her management, governance, organizational ethics and project management experience — in addition to a deep understanding of industry issues and FÉRIQUE’s target market — bring a new strategic development outlook to our organization.
